The AI front desk built for ortho.
Eva books consults the moment a parent calls. Mia confirms every adjustment for an 18-24 month case. Luna catches lapsed cases and sibling consults. Cora runs the payment plans without the awkward dunning call.

// the leaks
Where ortho practices lose case value.
New-patient consults are price-shopped.
Parents call three orthos to compare. The first one to answer with a real human (or sound like one) wins the consult. After-hours and lunch-hour calls die in voicemail.
Adjustment no-shows compound.
Ortho is a 18-24 month relationship — every missed adjustment delays the case finish. A 15% no-show rate at month 6 is a 3-month overrun by case completion.
Payment-plan dunning is awkward.
Most practices put $5-8k on a monthly payment plan. When the autopay fails, the front desk has to make the awkward call. Most don't, and bad debt builds.
Sibling and family discounts get missed.
Parents often bring siblings. Without proactive outreach, second-child consults slip. The financial value of every signed family case justifies the follow-up nobody has time to do.
// the team
Four agents tuned for an 18-month relationship.
Ortho is a long cycle. The agents are configured to know that — adjustment cadences, retainer checks, sibling outreach, multi-year payment plans.
Eva
books consults instantly
Knows your consult slots and the difference between a Phase I (kid), Phase II (teen), and adult Invisalign workup. Books the right slot length without your front desk steering.
Mia
confirms every adjustment
24h + 2h SMS reminders for every adjustment. Reschedules instantly when the parent says ‘school activity came up’ — fills the slot from your wait-list.
Luna
rebooks lapsed cases + sibling outreach
Detects when an active case has missed 2+ adjustments and re-engages. Triggers a sibling-consult offer when a parent finishes their child’s case (or signs the contract).
Cora
payment-plan management
Stripe payment plans up to 24 months. Auto-retry on failed cards. Polite SMS dunning sequence — not the awkward front-desk call. Surfaces accounts that need a human conversation.
// the case-completion math
Every missed adjustment costs you weeks.
A typical Invisalign case is 18 months across ~24 monthly adjustments. A 15% adjustment no-show rate adds 3-4 months to the average finish — that's 3-4 months of provider time per case that you don't bill for, plus the patient irritation.
- Mia drops adjustment no-shows from 15% to ~5% via 24h + 2h SMS
- Luna re-engages cases that miss 2+ in a row before they ghost
- Cora keeps payment plans current so financial drop-out doesn't trigger case stalls
- Eva books the make-up adjustment without a front-desk callback queue

Common questions from orthodontists
Does Eva know the difference between a consult and an adjustment?
Yes. Tell Maya about your appointment types in plain language ('Phase I consult, 60 min, with Dr. X' / 'wire change, 20 min, any provider') and Eva books accordingly. Mistakes auto-correct as Eva sees more bookings.
Can it integrate with our practice management software?
Open Dental ortho-mode and Dolphin Imaging are on the integration list. Cloud9 and Ortho2 ship later in 2026. Email hello@cadenceagents.ai if your PMS isn't listed — most take 2 weeks once a customer requests them.
What about HIPAA?
We sign a Business Associate Agreement before processing any PHI. AES-256-GCM encrypts patient identifiers; every AI tool call is audit-logged. PHI features unlock after a signed BAA.
Will Cora handle our orthodontic financing partners (Sunbit, Affirm, Lending USA)?
Cadence currently wires CareCredit. Other ortho-specific financing is on the roadmap. In the meantime, Cora handles in-house Stripe payment plans (most ortho practices use these as the primary path) and surfaces patients to your existing third-party flow when they need a longer term.
Can Luna handle retainer-check recalls after the case is finished?
Yes. Once the case finishes, Luna runs the retainer-check cadence (3 months, 6 months, 12 months, then annual) automatically. Most practices leak this revenue completely.
