Cadence Agents started with a single observation: small healthcare practices lose 20-40% of their revenue to missed calls, no-shows, and patients who never get reactivated. Not because they're bad operators — because the front desk is impossible.

Why now

Voice AI quietly crossed a threshold in 2025. It's now indistinguishable from a good receptionist on a 30-second booking call — and dramatically better on the 47th call of the day, after lunch, when the front desk is overwhelmed. Combined with HIPAA-eligible LLM infrastructure (Claude on AWS) and durable workflow engines (Inngest), it's finally possible to ship something a dental office can trust with their patients.

What makes us different

Most "AI receptionist" products are a single voice agent bolted onto a calendar. Cadence Agents is a team of six specialized agents that share one backbone: tool calls, audit log, customer record, calendar. Each agent does one job well, and Coach — our in-app AI operator — keeps them in line and answers every question the practice owner has.

We treat this like a healthcare product, not a chatbot. PHI is encrypted at the column level. Multi-tenant isolation is enforced at the database, not the application. Every AI action is logged with a diff. We sign BAAs.

Where we're going

Phase one: dental practices and medspas in the US. Phase two: insurance verification, sentiment scoring, multi-language. Phase three: the same agent team for veterinary, optometry, and physical therapy — every clinical single-location SMB that runs on appointments and gets crushed by the front desk.
