Cadence vs Weave — AI agents instead of forms and queues

Weave is a phone + texting + payments suite for healthcare practices. Cadence Agents replaces the human-in-the-loop bottleneck with eight AI agents that answer calls, send reminders, run recall, and handle billing autonomously. If you're hiring less but expecting more from your front desk, this is the swap.

// where the swap pays off

Why practices switch.

Eva answers in under 2 seconds

Weave's auto-attendant routes calls to a queue. Eva books the appointment in the same call — most patients hang up before realising they spoke to AI.

Recall runs itself

Luna brings 6-month recall and 18-month dormant patients back automatically. No campaign builder, no template editor — she reads your hours and PMS and just runs.

No long-term contract

Cancel from the dashboard in two clicks. Weave's standard terms are 12-month committed. If we don't earn the renewal, we shouldn't keep it.

Per-practice pricing, not per-receptionist

Add a hygienist, a chair, a phone — your bill doesn't move. Weave charges per user above their base.

// faq

Frequently asked.

Can I keep my existing phone number?
Yes. Cadence supports both forwarding (no porting required, fastest path) and porting your number to our trunk for full ownership. The onboarding flow asks which path you prefer.
Is there a minimum contract or setup fee?
No. Month-to-month, cancel anytime via the dashboard. No setup fee. 14-day free trial on every paid plan.
How long does onboarding take?
About five minutes. Eva, Mia, and Maya are live within thirty seconds of signup. Onboarding collects practice details, your phone setup, and a one-paragraph description that Maya extracts hours, providers, and PMS from automatically.
Can I switch from Weave without losing my patient list?
Yes. Most practices export their Weave contacts to CSV and we ingest them in onboarding so Mia can start sending reminders day one. Coming soon: a one-click Weave migration tool.
Will my front desk still need to take calls?
Eva handles 80–90% of inbound calls autonomously (booking, hours, basic FAQs). High-stakes calls — emergencies, complex insurance disputes, escalations — get transferred to your front desk with full context. They take fewer calls and the calls they take matter.
